Lately, I’ve been a bit down and just flat out grumpy. This mood is making my 29 day challenge for February quite difficult! In fact, I’ve failed on multiple occasions but I’m doing better. For the past week I’ve been listening to Nutritional Weight and Wellness’s podcasts, trying to soak up the guidance and get myself back in the groove of losing weight and getting healthier. There seems to be a recurring theme; feeling bad? fix your nutrition, getting grumpy? fix your nutrition, lacking willpower? fix your nutrition….you following me?! So, the answer to my malaise seems obvious…fix my nutrition!
I called and scheduled a phone consultation with Darlene Kvist on 2/29 to discuss my eating habits and hopefully come up with a plan to lose weight and better manage my tracheal stenosis (or get rid of it all together!).
You may or may not be familiar with Zig Ziglar, but he has a Wheel of Life that is supposed to be the keys to living a balanced/fulfilled life. I can easily identify areas that I’m doing pretty good in, but it’s the slices of pie that I’m not doing well with that I need to start focusing on. So, the first one I’m tackling is the “Physical” slice.
